What Is Preserved Moss?
Preserved moss is natural moss that is no longer alive, but has been conserved using a method from the floral industry that replaces the product’s moisture with oils to make it softer, cleaner, and longer-lasting.
It maintains the look and feel of moss—including the intricate details, textures, and vibrant colors of live plants. Once preserved, our moss walls maintain their quality. They don’t grow, but they remain a piece of art to enjoy long-term!

Are Moss Walls Really Maintenance Free?
Yes! Caring for preserved moss is easy.
Our moss designs are maintenance-free. These formerly living plants are preserved with organic compounds that protect the feel, texture, look and color of moss and plants. A chemical compound replaces the water content in the plant, preventing decay. In some cases, dye is used to imitate the vibrant color of the moss.
No green thumb? No Problem.
Because they are preserved, these designs don’t require any upkeep. There’s no need for irrigation infrastructure or grow lamps—your artwork can hang wherever you need it without additional installations.
You may want to dust your piece occasionally—we recommend using compressed air, like you would for your computer. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy the beauty each design brings to your space!

No! Great GrowIN’s preserved moss art is not made of living plants, so you don’t need to water your piece. It will continue looking fresh and green on it’s own!
Does moss art need sunlight?
No! Your artwork can be placed wherever you want. It is best to be kept out of direct sunlight because the moss could lose its color and turn brown.
Do moss walls attract bugs?
They do not. Because they are not living plants, moss art pieces do not attract bugs.
How long will a moss wall or moss art piece last?
